Mid-Century Native American Indian Glass Seed Bead & Leather Medallion Necklace

This eye-catching turquoise, coral red and white glass bead vintage beauty was most likely handcrafted by the Seminole Indian tribe in the 1960s. It features intricate hand beadwork on the star medallion, fringe tassels and hand beaded chain. The star symbol represents courage and purity of spirit in Native American Indian folklore. It measures approximately 15-inches when slipped over the head. The round medallion is approximately 1-1/16 inches in diameter. The back of the intricately beaded disc is genuine leather.
