This beautiful compact case was designed by Murhill Hill Fashions on Fifth Avenue, New York. Circa 1950s. The top of the case is layered with stunning Mother of Pearl and two raised black lucite dice with tiny bright crystals. This rest off the compact is gold-toned. The compact also comes with a removable retro CROWN lighter. The inside can be used as is or contain your license/business cards/credit cards/currency…. The mirror is perfect to check your hair, toss your bangs, reapply your lipstick—or just say hello to your beautiful self! There are some very light hairline scratches and a few spots (please see photos). Given it’s age of approximately 75 years, it’s still considered to be in very good vintage condition. When you pull this piece of fashion history from your purse, you may get some very positive and inquisitive reactions from friends (and new acquaintances)—it’s a great conversation piece.
