Mid-Century Modern Art Glass Abstract Sculpture Figurine 6 Lbs. 13" Lead Crystal

This is the perfect addition to your 1950s, 1960s or 1970s mid-century livingroom or study -- or any vintage decor. This sculpture will look amazing next to your Eames lounge chair or your Woodrow Box Sofa by Kardiel. The "neck" of the ball or "head" has had some repair but it's very hard to see unless you get very close. To me it looks like an abstract design of a man with his hands above his head. I've heard is also described as flames around a sphere, but I think it's a man waving his arms. The upper torso of the man sits on a 3.25" x 2" block of glass. It's a very heavy piece weighing in at just over 6 lbs. Measures approx. 6" x 13" x 3.25". Very Good condition considering it's been around for 50 or 60 years. Besides the neck repair, there are no visible dings that I can see. It's an amazing gift or a stunning piece in your own home.
