Mid Century Vintage Western Electric Bell RED Desk Telephone MCM

Vintage Mid-century Western Electric Bell System Fire Engine Red Desk Phone. Awesome desk/home decor: Presidential phone/ Santa’s hotline! ***Please read: I have no idea if it still works (as I don’t have a landline or know anyone with a landline to test it out). But it does have all its components and could be fixed if necessary. I have priced it low, assuming it may need repair to work since I cannot verify that it currently does work. It’s just been sitting in a basement for decades and does not appear to have any signs of real wear & tear that would be apparent from regular use. It had belonged to my grandparents, both notorious for buying for the sake of “just cause” then squirrel the item away in their basement. …I do hear the bell/ringer sound when I pick it up and set it down, but no clue what that indicates. Regardless, it’s a fabulous timepiece in great visible condition. Definitely an awesome piece of mid century decor!!! #midcentury #vintage #phone
