Mid Century Sims Ceramic Pottery Native American dish, ashtray, trinket

What caught our eye about this piece is the fantastic coloring, the bright blue and yellow are simply stunning up close. This piece was probably made somewhere between 1950- 1960 by the Sims Ceramic or Pottery Company. We've seen this piece described as the Thunderbird pattern, which also happens to be the mark they use to identify their company on certain pieces. This piece is a two headed bird with its wings spread out.
