Mid Century Rare Rex Fifth Avenue Engraved Gold Floral Tapestry Vintage Compact Rare 1950s engraved gold tone compact by Rex Fifth Avenue. Wonderful engraving on the top, bottom and sides. Black with multi colored floral needlepoint tapestry top. Top is covered in lucite protective cover which is screwed into place. Pink powder puff appears to be unused. Some aging throughout, mirror has some age spots. Bottom has MFW + JM hand engraved, so charming, I can only imagine what adventures this couple had! Compact measures 3.75 x 3.75 and is .75 deep.
