After a quick training period, their first mission involves investigating the seemingly accurate predictions of new "Predictor Machines." However, Mickey and Goofy accidentally discover that the predictions are being fed to the machines. They learn that the latest prediction, which caused the evacuation of Venice, is a ruse by a gang to steal an invisibility device being presented at a science congress. Mickey, using his cleverness, manages to foil the criminals' plans and successfully captures the entire gang, proving himself a capable new secret agent for P.I.
