These shoes have a soft sole for extra comfort. There was an adhesive soft heel attached to the heel for more comfort aftermarket, however it can be removed. These have so much more life left in them. The shoes are flexible, just like ballet flats. The gold MK on the pointed tip brings more flare. These will compliment any outfit dressed up or down. Some folks in reviews mention that MK runs a half size too small, but it may also depend on your foot. These have been worn, so they may have stretched enough already. The size in the shoe says 9M.
