amanso @smzambon shaft is 10" and 16" circumference at the top....never tried Vince Camuto boots, wat's wrong with the fit?

smzambon @amanso ok 10 so shorter and 16 so you can get jeans in right? Vince's boots...both pairs I tried were really loose in the ankle. I by no means have large calfs either so I don't know what the problem was aside from the fact m short...lol. His shoes are perfect on me so just annoying!!! Thinking 10-12 would probably be better for me...the other boots were 14-15. Where do these hit on your leg?

amanso @smzambon u can definitely get jeans into these, my calf is a lil bit on the thicker side and i still have room w/ the jeans. They hit a little below my knee, lemme know if u need additional pics

smzambon @amanso it might be helpful just to see where they hit on you...I'm 4 10 so it seems like we are close to the same height! :) Also, these are not new I'm assuming, are they still in good condition?

amanso @smzambon not new, but in great condition...i've probably worn these boots 6 times if that (after going crazy 2 find them)...they still have that new leather smell, no cracks. They've been kept in the box with the styrofoam shaper in the shaft

smzambon @amanso thanks! and thanks for taking the time to take the other pics too...definitely helps. I'm surprised 10 inch shaft length comes up that high...we are about the same height and 14 I guess I thought came up just slightly above these. But I'm so confused on shaft measurements right now I need a crash course...lol. I'm going to think on these. Do the ties actually function to make the boots tighter? And is price firm on these? Thanks again.

amanso @smzambon i've never adjusted the strings, i try not 2 crease the leather. But it has loops throughout where the strings are so i'm assuming they can be. Price is pretty firm, i paid full price 4 them and they are in excellent condition...wat did u want 2 offer?
