Strap drop: 10 inches. There are some water droplet spots on the inside of the flap, and only one visible from the outside, near the flap, on back. There is a small amount of wear to the snap closure under the flap. I took closeup photos of the interior flap area, and from the back, where the droplet is visible, and of the snap. Please see photos for details. The droplets may fade away with leather conditioning and cleaning, but I have not tried. I actually never used the bag, it got the rain droplets on it on the way home from buying it. It is a very nice and well made bag. All offers considered.
