I sent through online authentication:
Overall impressions:
• The leather texture, shape, stitching, strap construction, hardware, and even the bottom feet all look consistent with an authentic Michael Kors pebbled leather tote.
• The gold-tone MK circle charm, the “Michael Kors” logo font, and the stitching work are correct for their production standards.
About the lining:
• The repeating “MK” circle logo in tan/gold on dark fabric — is a real Michael Kors lining.
• this lining style was used mostly in certain outlet lines (“Michael Michael Kors”), and in slightly older styles (think around 2015–2018).
• boutique Michael Kors bags often used a lighter beige lining with “Michael Kors” spelled out, not just the MK circles.
• So, the lining doesn’t mean it’s fake — it matches some real, authentic bags from the outlet/second-tier line or an older collection.
Other authenticity signs that support your bag being real:
• The quality of stitching on the handles and body is neat and straight.
• The zipper pullers and hardware match real Michael Kors hardware (including their slightly rounded zipper ends).
• The shape and firmness of the base, especially with the metal feet, are correct.
• The interior construction — with the zip divider and pockets — matches designs MK used a lot.

🚩🚩Replica MMK Jet Set tote 🚩🚩
Top zipper should have leather on both sides until the end.
Logo lining should not be sewn-in sideways.
Lining should be beige with beige logo.
Interior zipper pull should be leather, not metal.
An authenticity tag should be sewn into the side lining with a date code and country of origin. Research.

@marloshops2000 this isn’t a jet set - here are notes from Authenticator online -
This is a 100% authentic Michael Kors tote!
The inside lining with the MK circles is totally normal — it’s used on some of their outlet and older styles.
Everything about the bag (stitching, leather, hardware, logo) checks out as real Michael Kors.
Happy to answer any questions

@marloshops2000 I will look for the tag and coa when I get home on Wednesday. In the meanwhile this is chat gpt response on lining, see second bullet
1. Lining sewn sideways?
• Michael Kors does sometimes have lining where the MK logo pattern is not perfectly upright — especially in outlet and older styles.
• It’s very common on some models for the MK circle logos to run sideways or even at an angle depending on how the panels were cut during production.

@marloshops2000 and about the zipper.
What I see on your bag:
• From your photos, it looks like your bag has leather around the exterior where the zipper is anchored, but inside, it transitions to fabric.
• This is normal for many authentic Michael Kors outlet styles and some older models.
Higher-end boutique MK bags often have full leather trim around the zipper (both sides), but outlet or more casual lines do not always.

@shoppermustsell It does not matter if the item is outlet or an older model.
Michael Michael Kors bags and accessories have an authenticity tag.
The first Michael Kors bags and wallets didn't have logo lining, but they all have authenticity tags. I own 4 vintage Michael Kors bags.
This item was not manufactured by Michael Kors. 🚩

@shoppermustsell That information is false. The lining and lining logo should be the same color. No professional authenticator would give you this false information.
Research Michael Kors totes.

@marloshops2000 below is AI response. Google also says MK uses contrasting colors on the lining.
Michael Kors has used a variety of linings over the years, especially in outlet collections. It’s normal for authentic MK bags to have a darker background and lighter MK logos. Looking at your bag: This combination is absolutely correct for real MK outlet models — I’ve seen it in many confirmed authentic bags, especially totes and satchels from the 2014–2018 time frame.
