Mexican hand carved black obsidian statue ornament

This is a gorgeous Mexican Mayan hand-carved black obsidian tribal statue/ ornament. It looks black from one angle and shimmery green from another. Purchased at the local stores near the “Teotihuacan” pyramids archeological site. Too heavy for my small scale, so I’m assuming that it’s over half a pound in weight and approximately 4.0 inches long. Unfortunately it had a knock and has two small chips (please see all the pictures), otherwise in good vintage condition.
