Mexican Vintage Toe Thong Sandals Brown Leather Boho Tooled Painted Flowers 5

Size 5 vintage made in Mexico tooled and hand painted sandals with a strap across the foot and the big toes (not sure what decade they are from but I can't find a single pair like them online). They are leather throughout, the insoles, soles and straps. The straps have flowers, leaves and little footprints tooled into them, painted yellow, red and green. Under the insole leather is a layer of padding. They have brass nail shoes to hold the straps onto the insoles, there is slight rusting on these. Otherwise they are in great condition, the straps are very firmly attached and sturdy. The soles do show normal wear in the leather. "Mexico" and "5" are stamed into the heel insoles. 8.75" long.
