A mix of Gringo-Mexican Food, Cool Folk Hangout and Hard Driving Music Club, this bar/restaurant on the Outer Banks of North Carolina was full on debauchery somehow resulting in lifelong kinship. Too many stories to tell, Dave Grohl hung out on the Outer Banks for a summer and became a regular. He wore a Mex-Econo hat on the now-famous Nirvana Rolling Stone cover. Yours truly worked there for a few years and I am finally ready to sell a few t-shirts from back in the day.
