The upper is made from a thick, heavy gauge leather and synthetic protective pads, specifically chosen to withstand the harshest weather, and the roughest terrain. Merrell coin the colour combination, ‘castlerock’ grey, with flairs of black and lime green keep the style eye-catching. The mesh runs up the bellows tongue, working in partnership with the M Select DRY membrane to prevent water and debris accessing the footwell. The toe has a protective black rubber cap, a must-have for enthusiastic walkers. The interior is another example of exceptional quality and design. The removable insole has an ergonomic shape, which coupled with the Merrell Air Cushion in the heel, provides superior shock absorption and stability. The stability and comfort generated by the EVA midsole are superb.
