Menzo Van Esveldt “Excursion Steamer Island Queen” Etching

"Excursion Steamer Island Queen" etching by Menzo Van Esveldt (1896-1985), created from a photo taken by Russell L Hunter in the early 20th century. Etching is titled and signed by the artist. The cream colored mat seems to be embossed to create the look of a "double mat". The mat’s pale cream “tone on tone" is subtle yet adds interest. Beautifully hand-written title and signature. Frame backing shows wear due to the apparent age of the artwork. A great collectible by Menzo Van Esveldt. See pics for details.
