Mens Black Wrangler jeans. 👖 size 38x30. Inside waist measurement is 41” using the metal button as a start and stop point. Great condition, no rips, tears, or stains. 2 front side pockets and back pockets. Also 2 thigh pleated pockets with Velcro closures. Color is not faded and not well photographed. No frayed hems.

Sometimes the actual waist on the pants maybe smaller or larger. I can wear some 36s, some 38s. Will you flatten the pant and measure for me? Thanks!

@walterrhett good question and thanks for waiting… I measured the inside waist using the metal button back as a reference since it’s not movable. It’s 41”. I added a new pic to the description.

Thanks so much! As a jeans buyer, the inside trick is to pick the jeans up at the pocket waist seams (put your fingers inside the waist, at opposite ends over the pockets), then lay the jean flat. Measure the flat half, then double it.

I bet it differs from 41!

Don't sag the ruler if the waistband slumps; just end to end.

Your first picture with the jeans hanging is perfect. You simply measure the top of the waist. (Hope I am not too confusing!)

Well, we lost an inch! The experts and high end brands all say measure that way and compare to a measure of a pair that fit. My "fit" number is 18.25in. Suspenders help with 38s; 40s look to clownish and bouncy.
