Men's Vintage Burton Button Down Sports Coat

This garment is in beautiful condition with the only flaw being some minor discoloration on the inner lining (please reference photo which shows this). Other than that, this coat looks amazing!!! I'm going to take a guess that this jacket was manufactured around the 1950 era (maybe even the 40s), because of the two interior labels design. I've always loved these vintage men's jackets: they are classic!! I've been wearing them since I was a teenager and I still wear them today. You can wear them with the sleeves cuffed or uncuffed, and they look equally good with a pair of rolled cuff jeans and combat boots or over the top of a mid-calf skirt that has some fullness. This jacket has a classic houndstooth design and is made of 100% wool. (It's not itchy-scratchy wool)! Given it's age, this is a truly special find, because it's condition could almost be mistaken for "like new". There are no moth holes or tears, because the coat has been so well preserved. The interior is partially lined in a muted khaki that teams up perfectly with the colors of the exterior pattern.
