Men's Shetland Woollen Co. sweater from Murray's Toggery Shop in the Nantucket Red's Collection. Size 48 (which equates to an XL). From the Shetland Islands of Scotland to the island of Nantucket, this sweater is one of a kind. It's truly a rare piece that's hard to purchase! Some small holes in the front (see last picture), which add to its character. Measures about 29.5 inches from the top of the shoulder to the hem and about 22 inches across the underarms. 100% Pure New Shetland Wool. Hand wash or dry clean. We purchased this sweater on Nantucket but unfortunately, it's too big for my husband. Not sure how old it is but it could be a vintage piece.
