hetnaynay @2ndlife_threads I'm sorry for such a delay in response to your request but I went to take the picture of that care label and there isn't one .... these are my dad's jeans and he's very particular about tags. All tags get removed before he wears the garment. His OCD will not allow it unless, of course, the tag is printed on the item. I apologize for the wait and now nothing.. 🙄😖😔😟 I'm sorry! 😕😒😰😓

My week has been the same way, hell the past month! lol you asked about selvedge denim...? so at the risk of sounding green, my curiosity wants to learn though, will you fill me in on what that is!!??? how would I know if the tags aren't there? is it certain styles only or from a certain year? or am I sounding really dumb now!???

2ndlife_threads @hetnaynay not sounding dumb at all! In fact, majority of normal ppl don’t kno too much about Levi’s and the history of them. I however, am a weird one with a serious addiction to denim lol The word ‘selvedge’ relates to the ‘self-edge’ of fabric. Selvedge is woven so the fabric’s ‘edge’ can be used in garment construction. 2ndlife_threads @hetnaynay these apart. Today, those early original orange Tab Levi’s items – which include shirts, jeans, hats, and accessories – are sometimes considered collectibles. As far as care tags go, it depends on the year the jeans were made as well the model or style. On the right now on the back that’s orange, the litter E in Levi’s, is it capitalized or short?
