What are the measurements on this? And is it black or a really dark brown?

The measurements are approximately 27-1/2” from base of collar to bottom of jacket and 28-1/2 to 29” from under armpit to opposite armpit in back. The color is definitely black . It is in beautiful shape-very soft leather.
