Are pictures 4 and 5 showing tears in the material? I see there are slits for the laces to go through, but it looks like the strange way the laces are configured have caused tears as well.

no holes but slite pealing in thst plastic part as pic shown but honestly the shoe is in almost perfect structural shape besides that very comfortable.
