foundthis4you @poshoppingirl regarding sizing, the REI site says these run true to size. I really can't say as each person's idea about sizing is different. Regarding your question on the stone guard - I just checked and that thin layer that goes under the insole is not with these shoes, so I will not that in the listing. It's something you can buy inexpensively and add if you want. It lessens the shifting of your feet in the shoe when on rocky/rough terrain.
