Hi guys, I'm currently a junior studying advertising in NYC. The last picture is of my boyfriend of almost 2 years, we are crazy in love... He's been with me through treatment for Lyme Disease, which is very hard to live with. I'm a Posher because school, books, art supplies and medical bills get very expensive quick. I'm about to upload more items soon. Feel free to ask me questions. I'll accept any reasonable offer. Happy PoshMarking ๐Ÿ˜€

smadams @devinne998 So nice to "meet" another Lymie here on Posh! I started PM to try to pay expenses too since medical bills add up so fast. Little by little, it helps. And I've met some awesome people! Hope it works out for you! I'll be sure to share your listings. And if you ever need anything, like a prayer or someone to vent to, just let me know. Hang in there!๐Ÿ’š

devinne998 @smadams hi, so great to "meet" you too. Thanks for the feedback and all the shares. I โค your closet. And it's great knowing another Lymie on here. I was diagnosed in early may after having it for 13 years. Finally started not feeling like a hypochondriac. Still on IV and oral antibiotics and I have a while to go. I'm sick with a cold right now, and it's 10 times worse then a normal cold. Thanks again for reaching out. I really appreciate it

smadams @devinne998 Oh girl! It's rough to start. But I'm glad you finally got a real diagnosis! I wasn't diagnosed until 2010, 12yrs after I got it. So many crazy dr's and misdiagnosis before then. Been treating for almost 3 years now, and I am better than I used to be, but it's a tough road. Headed in for a radiation/Ozone therapy treatment today. :/

devinne998 @smadams I didn't know there was radiation therapy. And I'm so sorry you've had it for so long. But it's so nice to know what I have and that there is help out there. I know there's a light at the end of the tunnel, just don't know how long the tunnel is

stacy16900 I'm just trying to help some poshers out here. There is this new app called m-e-r-c-a-r-i (spelled without the dashes of course) and they take 0% away from sales, so what you sell for is what you get :) you can also sell more than clothes, you can sell makeup, perfumes etc. if you use the sign up code DHJRUF when signing up you get a free $15 credit to spend on whatever you like on the app!

bronte83 @devinne998 I was diagnosed with lyme disease and co-infections last year. How is your treatment going?
Feb 08Reply
devinne998
devinne998 @bronte83 currently I'm not undergoing treatment. But it was brutal when I was, I had a pick line and IV medication every day. Currently I eat very healthy, and that's makes a big difference. How's your treatment? How long have you had it?

bronte83 @devinne998 My LLMD stopped treatment for now to work on some of my gut issues. They think I've had it most of my life. What sort of diet are you on? I'm on the autoimmune paleo protocol (I also have a couple of autoimmune disease) and it seems to help a lot with pain and inflammation. Do you feel like you're in remission?

devinne998 @bronte83 For the most part I feel like I'm in remission. My LLMD told me to come back if I start feeling like symptoms are reoccurring. He said he thinks I had it most of my life, then got proper treatment, almost went into remission, came off antibiotics then got bit again last summer, then went back on antibiotics and now I'm in remission. The diet my dr recommended was super strict so I strayed away from that a little and am currently on a program called isagenix to help my body become more alkaline and a little weight loss. It consists of 2 meal replacement shakes a day and no dairy or gluten, no fruits(high in sugar) and a few other easy rules to follow. I feel the best I ever have on this program. No more bloated, sleeping better, so full of energy plus I lost a little weight
