tris1957 Hii vic...the apple necklace sold on mec@ri.. i also sell there..for less...cause they chg me less, anyways...my daughters going to the bank box and grabbing somemore tiffany...so i believe ill hav another in bout a week.

tris1957 Actually i have 18 or 20 inch chains..tiffany, but not peretti...next time u see a good deal grab it...got to tiffany.com, enter in elsa peretti 18 inch chain...then hav a jewler swap them out for u...and sell the 16!

tris1957 See tiffany almost always makes it so the darn chains wont thread thru...id actually have the jewler put an o ring on it so u can change out the chains!

viktoriya26 @tris1957 thank you. I got a charm and necklace from here and it ended up having broken clasp. It’s almost impossible to get that charm through another chain. I have to look into cost of fixing it. I also got a bow necklace 16” hoping to like it because the price was so good but I just need 18” or longer. Reselling takes so long, especially if I want to recoup some money back. I will keep checking for 18”. There is lots of 16” but I not in a hurry. Thanks for all the info.

tris1957 Hey..i jus had a customer say she went to tiffany.com...nsent her necklace in v8a post...they sent it back all with new chain n shined up...she said very reasonable, but didnt say how much...theresa free number to call on thier website...might be worth it

viktoriya26 @tris1957 thank you. I was in Philadelphia yesterday and stopped by a store. They wanted $50 to fix the clasp or I had to buy a bigger chain and they will replace it but it’s also $50 and plus the cost of chain. I’m not sure it’s worth it. I can’t change the chain myself since the hole in the pendant is so tiny. I may try a jeweler. I found an apple chain for a good price but it was 16 inches. Thank you for thinking of me and passing this information along.

tris1957 @viktoriya26 ..yes a jewler can even do an extension on that existing chain!...ive seen them!...u barley notice ots just a tiny second 0 ring where they attach it, and it will slide thru...so it works perfect. They just match the guage size of the chain....ive had several repaired..i keep for myself...but a jewler can do it, i had a jewler back in m8ch, last time he charged me 10.00 for the whole repair!...
