abssoluebliss I totally understand. My son wrote for grants to start a career center priority high school & he went back to work before the end of July. He only had as two week break in June and two in July. He is inspiring as a principal. Teachers spend more time with students than many parents. That is a gift. Danielle

abssoluebliss My snowshoe was opened but he had six toes instead of five, as normal. At 4 months I was clipping Dijon's claws and saw a 7th. At six months he started stumbling and my Bombay was carrying him to the food bowl pushing out kibble onto the floor for Dijon. I picked him up, sure enough #8 was on both legs. The vet xrayed him, said he had no knees but toes were coming out everywhere.

abssoluebliss I was I'll when the vet said he wouldn't be able to eat, play or step in a litter box & may be in immense pain. he needed to be put down. I couldn't breathe. He was so loving & intelligent. Then, routinely Golliwog would go in all 9 rooms, searching Dijon, not eating,just staring. I chose to foster him to see if he would stop mourning. He did. He came home & then started marking where he could smell Dijon so I rehomed him & he's fine. Cats are Amazing funny crazy love.

snowshoecat @abssoluebliss Gosh, that is wild about Dijon! I have a snowshoe named Mei Mei. She was a rescue (she's not the one in the picture but she looks similar). I've had several cats before but she is by far the softest, cuddliest, sweetest, most friendly cat, and she's smart, too. Snowshoes are a beautiful breed as well. I'm hooked for life!
