But: Should I have a stock of shipping envelopes and boxes at home and on hand? Do sellers have any special postal rates that they can use?

babysydney @suzanneupp yes! I keep any boxes I receive shipments in and sometimes have to purchase some too. Shipping is set on Poshmark, if it’s over 5lbs seller has to pay difference OR divide the shipment into more packages and ship separately/charge for each one.

babysydney @suzanneupp you can use the priority mail boxes but NOT flat rate ones, they’ll be returned. You can check at your local post office for those boxes, my post office never has them in stock which is why I end up saving and buying boxes! Lol

onlythebestlook @christierum My fur babies are Bichon Frise very pure bred lines. I used to be a breeder but stopped as I eased into retirement. My last little mommy girl passed 1 1/2 years ago. Now I have my beloved daddy dog, Gabriel, and a pop, Zeus, we kept from Sassy’s last litter. It was such a beautiful time in our lives with all the puppies 🥰.

My extended family and I have been incredibly blessed when it comes to life-long medical issues but back in October my youngest granddaughter was hospitalized.

onlythebestlook She had developed Juvenile Type 1 Diabetes. It was so subtle and advanced so “quietly” that it wasn’t till she started to crash and was guzzling water that it hit what was going on. Her mom took her to her doctor the next day. He said she has Ketones in her urine, this is an emergency, and called Children’s Hospital and had her admitted stat. She was in ICU for 3 days getting pulled out of Ketoacidosis.

onlythebestlook She is doing pretty well now, Annika started doing her own finger sticks 6 wks after being in hospital, started giving herself the shots 8 wks after hospital stay. It really has enlightened us to what it means to have an every day, forever disease. I thought I was pretty enlightened due to working with the MRDD population for years but it’s a whole different thing when you live it. So God Bless. I hope we can shop again. 🙏🏽🤞♥️
