sellingsuzanne @designhamptons I have a question about posh parties. When I am invited to one how do I list any items from my closet that might be appropriate to include in the party and do I list before party or during party?

designhamptons @sellingsuzanne first off, you are always "invited" to the daily parties. It's automatic. There are four a day... 12, 3, 7 and 10 (well that's EST... so depending on your time zone). The first is brand specific (such as Gucci, Anthro, etc), the second is category specific (makeup, shoes, jewelry, etc), the third is a newer addition (men, kids or plus) and the fourth is theme (office style, feminine and flirty, etc). Any item you list in your closet can be shared to a party.

designhamptons @sellingsuzanne The first three types will let you share to the party if it matches the requirements (for example you can share a Gucci bag to a Gucci party but it won't let you share a Kate Spade bag to a Gucci party). The evening party is really up to your best judgement. If YOU think it fits the theme then you share it. Does that help? Hopefully it didn't make it more confusing!

sellingsuzanne @designhamptons thank you. So to be clear. If I'm invited and I have a brand then My item is automatically included? If I physically want to share an item in a general event do I have to do anything specific on my own listing?

designhamptons @sellingsuzanne You have to share that item to the party for it to be included. So let's say you have a Kate Spade purse. You've added the listing and the brand. There's a KS party so you share your purse to the party. I wish I could do screen shots here. You press share and it will give you the option of sharing to your followers or to the party. You share to the party. Things you share to the party are not shared to your followers and vis versa.

designhamptons @sellingsuzanne The only thing you need to do for your listings to be shared to the party is to actually share them during the party. Just make sure to proofread your listings so they have the correct brand.
