@mixitupcloset Hello Donna! I wanted to inquire why does this site charges such a high percentage on each sale? If I am not mistaking the charge is over 20% on each item sold... just wanted to understand this a bit better. No other site charges more than 10% and even that is a very significant amount.

@aimolos Good morning Solomia! Unfortunately I don't really know why the fees are so high either! I probably need to look more into it to understand myself! And yes it's 20% on anything over $15 and a flat $2.95 on stuff under $15. Which is why I hardly list stuff too low because I like to offer my customers $4.99 shipping when I can (that $$ comes out of our sale too) btw

@aimolos So if I list something for $6 and offer the buyer $5 with $4.99 shipping....I think I only make 25¢ 😭 Which my husband and I both feel isn't worth it because I always include a free gift worth more than that...lol I joined here in 2015 but didn't really start selling until June 2018 because the other site I sold on for many years always took 20% (don't know if they do now) and added some crazy extra buyers fees.

@aimolos I just wasn't making as many sales and I surely wasn't planning to purchase on there with those fees anymore! I know this might seem crazy to some people but I sometimes price higher just to help compensate for those fees and knowing I can always bring the price down! I know this didn't really answer your question and I'm sorry... If I find out why they do it, I'll let you know! ;) sorry for the 📚book...
