My family lost everything in hurricane Harvey. We had almost 6 ft of water. I’m trying to sell my unused things and buy things I do need. I lost two LV’s and a Burberry London as well as 2pair of uggs and ostrich loafers and tons of coach purses. I’m just trying to sell a little and rebuild my closet. shelljakes @katemarie84 I know I will! I had a $9000 fur sable coat my mother in law gave me just because her ex husband gave it to her as a gift from Sakowitz furs and it got destroyed in Harvey. It’s over $1600 to clean and restore so there’s no way I can do that. So having a fur will be great that I can wear. Thank you for helping me. When I’m able I will shop Your closet!!!

We haven’t started the work on the house yet bc we just now are starting to see insurance money. We were still paying on on our new furniture! And I lost so many nice things that I worked really hard for. But those are just things. My two dogs, my husband, and myself have made it through this. The dogs were traumatized for a good while. But thriving now. I lost my high paying job of 9 years

And to top it off I lost one of my real diamond earrings at work the other day 🤦🏼‍♀️ Like really? I was wearing them when the hurricane hit and then I just loose one?
