I have a few items I'm going to post. I already have pictures, however, the presentation in them are substandard. I want to post them and add a comment that better ones are to come. Do you believe that would be okay or should I just present them they way I want to off the bat?

tiffanypeter854 @chettal72 U can use modeling pics from a company’s site (if u have brand name) or display clothing next 2items (like magazines, flowers, etc) it looks nice but dont let it distract buyers from the actual item! b sure to keep it simple!Or just use a plain background(nice wood flooring/white backdrop, etc) Take a clear picture &ALWAYS take pics of ANY flaws-pilling,frays, discoloration,etc (u want high ratings so more ppl purchase &don’t want returns because an item wasn’t in condition expected)!

tiffanypeter854 @chettal72 I don’t recommend saying that u have “better” items to come because that may give off the perception that the item you’re listing isn’t that great and may turn the buyer off when they may have really liked the item before seeing that! Maybe just make a listing like “Hey everyone ✌🏼! I just recently started adding clothing to my closet and have more great items to come! Be sure to keep an eye out! Save my closet my liking this listing!”

My mom gave me a quote from a keynote speaker at a conference that said "if you don't have time to do it right the first time, then how do you have time to do it again?"! tiffanypeter854 @chettal72 as far as your first listing id say take more photos for sure! An up close image to show the type of material and colors and what not. Always take a pic of the tag where it shows the size,materials,brand, washing instructions (if any). Try better lighting if ya can. Do u have a nice white sheet u could lay the clothing on! Or white faux fur rug or anything?

chettachetta @tiffanypeter854 I do have a better way to shoot the items, that I'm trying tomorrow. But the camera on my phone is kind of a bummer. I will use those tips to be more detailed, as I am sure, it will definitely help the process. And answer more questions the patrons may have.
