michelemdevine @mattiemama they are sending it back to me because they were unable to authenticate it. Another online authentication service authenticated it already using pictures. I believe it is real based on the source who gave it to me - an elderly German woman who had many real Channel bags, suits, etc. (not the type who would own fake things). It may be very old which may be the reason for authentication difficulty. Still interested?

mattiemama Yes, definitely! Poshmark didn’t give any specifics about it, but said they could not guarantee authenticity. Does it have any Hermès stamping on the hardware? It should have some date code as well on the leather? The zipper is key as well. Should be an Eclair or have an Hermès stamp unless it was changed for some reason. I was so excited! It’s a lovely bag:)

michelemdevine Were they able to explain what makes them believe it's fake? Based on the source of the bag, I really believed it was authentic (if old).
