Hi! I'm Melissa. I love all things Tiki and Hawaiian, especially Tiki clothing and home goods that are reminiscent of or from the mid-century. I also love other tropical prints and fabrics - pretty much anything well-made that I can wear while drinking a Mai Tai on the beach (or imagining that I am). Note: You'll occasionally see other 1940s/1950s-style clothing in my closet, too. My love of the mid-century tiki style has led me to an appreciation of other clothing and wares from the era.

tttrudy Hi I’m interested in the blue dress but I need some help. I have an ostamy and I need a little extra room for my bag it’s right beside my belly button so I’d like to know if it’s figure hugging. tikibibi Hi @tttrudy! I'm not 100% sure which dress you're referring to. Do you mean the blue/purple-ish one with peach flowers by Mossimo that you liked? If that's the one, it is not figure-hugging. The dress is a loose fit, but the line of the dress is straight until ~mid-thigh, which then has ruffles to the bottom hem. So it really depends on how much room you need around your belly. If you need a little more room, the orange Palmwave dress or the black and blue Favant dress both have quite a bit.
