mshelton0405 @adchimia I'm getting a lot of people asking to buy but wanting me to email them. Is that a scam? Don't you just buy directly through the app?

adchimia @mshelton0405 I’m so glad you asked! Yes, I would say that’s a scam. Never take transactions off Poshmark, because with Poshmark, the buyer and seller are both protected! If anything goes wrong, your money and/or your item will be safe with Poshmark. I usually respond to comments saying “I feel more comfortable doing this transaction through the app”. If the person insists on going off the app, this is a scam!

adchimia @mshelton0405 If anyone in particular is bothering you, you can always report them. Taking transactions off Poshmark is against the app’s policy, but more importantly it’s just to keep you safe! Let me know if this helps 💕
