thefunkyroyals While I'm not in college, we share back, spine neurological issues. I've lived w/a damaged spine since I was 18, have had multiple major reconstructive surgeries, more injuries & developed new health issues from the tole all of the pain & stress my body was in from all the above. It's like one big domino effect that never seems to end! I wish you nothing but the best & hope you have a great team of docs, that's 1/2 the battle! lovingirlfriend I know how that feels I am 18 years old and I have been having body pains for about 3-4 years and I do still believe that I have fibromyalgia I still have not been diagnosed but both my parents have it so I believe that I do!!

megankayx3 @lovingirlfriend it is not easily diagnosed. I had so many X-rays and scans done and they found nothing. Medication is the only thing that helps! All my money I make on here goes towards my medicine because it is so expensive!

lovingirlfriend @megankayx3 ya still no diagnosis but ik I have it!! The only think to keep the pain bearable is pain killers! My doctors give me muscle relaxers and it nocks me right out!! I hate them because I have stuff to do, my doctors think it's stress!! Ya right!!

megankayx3 @lovingirlfriend I am just on neurontin which is an anti seizure medication. Maybe you should think about switching doctors. As soon as I told my that my mom and grandmother both had it they got me on medication for it asap. I am pain free with no pain killers!

bmonska @tramnes1 i too have degenerative disc issues, chronic pain & chronic muscle spasms! I'm to the point of just managing pain until i absolutely have to have a fusion (which could cause more pain)! without the meds it's difficult to physically function. Just wanted to reiterate you guys are not alone! I'm a plus size closet, so if you know of anyone looking for cute plus stuff, send them my way! Nice meeting you!

I have a headach condition called New Daily Persistant Headache that i got at 26. It is literally 1 headache i got in apr 2009 that has never gone away or given me a break. I just wanted to reach out and tell you to keep moving forward! Its fantastic you are in school and working! Dont ever give up the fight❤❤

singaporejones Sorry about the fibro. 😵 I have friends of various ages who struggle with it. (My chronic crap is a different flavor, but I grok the "chronic" part, never mind wishing no one had to deal with such nonsense!) Glad you have found meds that help. I'd think that since you're in med school that you know about aid programs like Rx Help? IDK if they are an option for you, or if being a student would make other options available to you? Not trying to state the obvious ☺....

I am also taking curcumin which is a vitamin supplement that helps with inflammation and it seems to be working very well. Thanks for letting me know there are others. I need one of those shirts that's says "the struggle is real", but at the same time I am just going to kick it in the ass and not let it get me down! :)

megankayx3 @taylorbub I totally agree. It isn't something that other people understand. I have been taking a generic form of lyrica which seems to be helping a little bit and then I take vitamins for inflammation of nerves that help a lot. My biggest struggle with this is the fibro fog. I forget stuff all the time and other times I feel like I am in a daze. It sucks alot, and has defiantly changed my life, but I know I can work through it. Thank you for sharing!

I've been an ER RN for almost 20 yrs. and Gabapentin (Lyrica) contributed to my disability status. It causes terrible memory loss and worsens the "Fibro Fog"😟. Please look into this! I know he's a healer the last person I passed the message to called me back and said when they went to the doctor their son was cancer free!! shoptherapypro I have a shipping cost question. I made two purchases. Both have many clothing items. The weight is well over the 5 lb limit. I have viewed the premium shipping cost to the seller... that is over and above the $7.50 from the buyer. So naturally the seller wants to elevate the price to cover that loss.

And if 2 shipments (orders)... will cost buyer $15 for shipping and seller $0. If seller has to compensate for the extra 18, buy elevating cost to buyer to cover it and the buyer has to pay the given $7.50 ship as well. That makes buyer and seller all paying more. Am I thinking correctly?

shoptherapypro I also looked into the wholesale market status. To qualify, have 10+ sales and 4.5 rating. So would most highly active sellers qualify? I read ... wholesale marketer, you can print multiple shipping labels at no extra cost to split the deliveries up. Should this be something I suggest to the two sellers? I know one of them just weighed my purchase at 15 lbs... so have to split in to 3 orders. This makes the shipping cost me the buyer 22.50.

mindypnw Hi Megan, I’m so sorry you have to fibromyalgia! I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I was diagnosed in my 20’s and have been coping with it since. Unfortunately it affects the quality of our life’s. The constant pain and fatigue is so frustrating. It’s difficult for people who don’t have it or another chronic medical issue to understand what it’s like for us. I have lost some friends because I have had to cancel plans too many times and I’m not as fun as I use to be.
