yodagirl525 @greatdanish Whoa, that’s crazy! Ugh, sorry that sucks. They were definitely firmly attached when I shipped them to you. How weird! Especially since something similar happened w the booties I bought from you also - not the entire sole, but the heel tips came off during my 1st wear. I didn’t think to contact Poshmark, though, maybe I should have. I chalked it up to the risk of purchasing used shoes (also thinking I’ll try to fix them since I love the style so much & hadn’t been able to find)!!

greatdanish @yodagirl525 oh my gosh! That’s crazy. I wonder if it’s because I stored them? Maybe the heat mucked up the shoe glue. Oh shoot. I would have refunded your money. I’m so sorry. Were you able to fix? If so, what did you use? Maybe I can try them on the red boots as they were so comfy for the short time I had them on.

I haven’t fixed them yet, I don’t think it’s possible for them to be remedied w glue potentially like the sneaker booties (I’m thinking some sort of industrial grade glue, but I don’t know what that would be - I’ll do a Google search & let you know if I come up w any leads!). There’s a metal stud sticking out of the bottom of the CH bootie heels so I think I have to take them to a cobbler to have the heel tips professionally replaced. Unless you know of a DIY hack, haha!

greatdanish @yodagirl525 Thank you so much. I ordered some shoe glue that was recommended called Starbond KEG-500. Being that the WHOLE sole came off pretty cleanly, I might try that first and then if it comes off again, I’ll take it to a cobbler. Did you say there was a stud in the CH boots??? That’s crazy. I inspected those boots so well, even cleaned the soles and sanitized. I can’t believe I missed that. I feel horrible. If you want another pair of shoes from my closet, I’ll give them to you for free.

yodagirl525 @greatdanish Oh hey! NICE! Hope the glue works beautifully! I’ve heard good things. And the stud is part of the shoe, it’s not like a tack sticking out of the sole. I was saying that BOTH heel tips came off of the shoes on my 1st wear. And I sadly think it’s not a glue solution as there is a purposeful metal stud sticking out of the bottom of the heels now where the tip came off - which is why I think it needs a professional hand to fix. I wouldn’t even know where to start with that, LOL!
