curvesenvogue I really want to make a sale but today I turned down $30 because the item was $55 and it's a suede jacket worth so much more . after my offer was not accepted, I was bummed and thought to myself that I probably should have accepted the $30 .

mackenzies89 @curvesenvogue Hi. Your question is quite understandable. A lot of times, I price my items based on what I paid for them and the quality they are in. I’m always willing to negotiate with buyers because most times we can come to a reasonable agreement. I haven’t been on Poshmark for too long, so a lot of this is a learning experience. If you feel like you’ve priced items too high, let them stay at a certain price for a month or so and then drop the price a little bit.

mackenzies89 @curvesenvogue I know it can get discouraging, but sometimes you’ll have really good weeks and make sales and then some weeks it will be slow. Keep at it!

mackenzies89 @curvesenvogue Also, you’ll sometimes get low offers. I’ve gotten those, but I’ve been able to negotiate for a higher price and both parties are satisfied. You’ll lose sales sometimes, but that doesn’t have to be discouraging.

mackenzies89 @curvesenvogue I hope my answers have been helpful. At the end of the day, you price things where you’re comfortable at and leave some wiggle room. If someone really wants something, they will negotiate with you. I was discouraged at first, but it’s gotten so much better because I’ve been able to learn more each month I do this.
