elysee13 Hello! Probably the best way to "promote" your page is by getting Host picks. This tip is a little hard to explain, it's something the more serious and or experienced Poshers do. •Basically if you go in the "search tab" and scroll down you will see a spot that says parties. It will say the times that they start as well. •What a "Poshmark party" is is basically a showroom of a brand or style of clothes. Every day there are 4 parties.

elysee13 •For each of these parties there are hosts, who are very experienced poshmark users. The hosts, as their job for the party, pick out HOST PICKS (and item of clothing) from different users closets they think embody the party's theme. •These Host picks then become part of the special tab inside the party called "Host picks".

elysee13 This is probably the best way to promote your page because you get lots of exposure from people who might be interested in that brand or style. That is why that person would be attending the "party".

elysee13 As for how to get Host picks- When you click on a certain party it will show the hosts for that particular party. Usually the host will have a specific listing all about the party they are hosting. Just comment on that listing politely asking if they could check out your closet for a Host Pick.Make sure to do this about a day in advance. It might take a while but hopefully you'll get a Host Pick soon!

elysee13 And the two biggest tips I give to all the new Poshers I help are: 1. Have clear pictures, make them look as professional as you can. Your Poshmark closet is like a online store. If you saw something that didn't have a clear picture and didn't look professional you probably wouldn't buy it!

mamacatz @kenzs_kloset @kenzs_kloset Hi Mackenzie, the best way to promote your closet is to share, share & share, both your items and items from others closets. When active, I try to take 10 min a day to share. In my opinion, host picks are great, but are incredibly difficult to “earn”. I’ve been on here since 2014 & can count on one hand the amount of HP’s I’ve received. I was a suggested user & now a Posh Ambassador, top seller, mentor, etc, w/164K followers, so those things don’t seem to matter.

mamacatz @kenzs_kloset I also have boutique items posted using same pics as the Posh boutique I bought from. Not only have some of them received 3-4HP on the same item, while mine go unnoticed, and I can’t ever sell same item new, for same price as members line up to pay in the boutiques. My point being, HP’s aren’t always about the item(s) or closet, if you get my drift. When I do parties, I specifically do my HP out of closets that deserve attention & have never received one.

mamacatz @kenzs_kloset I’d say I’m in the minority though. Another tip: Prior to posting items, I search to see average selling point on same item(s) so I can accurately price mine. If priced too high, members can search/find same item for lower price. I have lots more tips, but have already gone WAY over the character limit😬. If you want to chat more, just bundle something in my closet & we can talk privately there😊.

mamacatz @kenzs_kloset As you can see from my closet, my inventory is pretty low. I’ve honestly had better luck selling on FB lately. I started getting low ball after low ball & ended up selling for way less than I wanted, losing too much money.

mamacatz @kenzs_kloset Just shared all your listings🥳! Not that I need you to, but when others share your listings, make sure you share back. I noticed a lot of members had questions I’m guessing you didn’t see. When you don’t answer, people lose interest & move on pretty quick. I’ll sometimes miss notifications, so It’s happened to me too. To ensure I don’t miss any, I immediately select comments in the menu bar before I do anything else.
