sweetabell You won't be able to. If someone gives you a super amount like some of these girls do then try your hardest. But the part shares, in my opinion are to get you to their closets. Just do your best, but don't stress over it. A lot of these girls will show you a lot of love now, show love back, but it never has to be the time they share yours. I always find I need the shares when they are able to give them, but I'm hoping when I'm free to return the love, they will need it the most.

Since the beginning of this year, I've been living in CA. We stripped entirely our house in WA and are remodeling it room by room.

Started to remodel one room and discovered structural, electrical, and other issues that caused us to move out and begin what will be a 2yr process. The house is University Place (near Tacoma). I've lived my entire life in Seattle/Tacoma so this year has been a good adventure. My mom though was born and raised in Spokane 😀

I've never been, but it's on my list (mostly because my husband's brother lives there and we're due a visit.) I'm a pacific northwesterner - born and raised. But my sister moved to Houston 13yrs ago and my in-laws live in southern Indiana on a farm (where my husband grew up). So over the past decade, I've discovered there's a southern gal in me that I never knew was there 💜

moderngal @kmcnett Hi Kristy! I try to enjoy life and am pretty blessed to have a lot to be happy about 😁 Tacoma is where I still call home since we have a house there. Until earlier this year, I had lived my entire life in the Tacoma/Seattle area. The house we own in Tacoma previously belonged to my husband's grandfather. We started to remodel part of it, and the project snowballed. So... we moved to Nor CA and plan to stay here for another 1-2 yrs.

kmcnett My 1st hubs was in the Air Force. I have lived in IL, WI, MN, ND, CO, NM, & WA. I cried when we left Tacoma. I did not cry when we left ND & I did not cry when we left NM. My mom had a couple aunts & uncles who lived out there, which was nice for us cuz we were so young. ♡

kmcnett Wow. Surprised to hear the 2 bases are 1. DeForest is only about an hour away. Monroe is close to the IL border, in the middle of the bottom of the state. We just had Cheese Days last month. It's a 3 day drunk basically w/lotsa cheese, Swiss entertainment, parade & carnival.

moderngal @gcunn724 I'll use a sandwich/freezer baggie if appropriate. Or I save bags that my amazon/other retailer purchases come in. I'm at the point in my business where it makes sense for me to buy pretty polymailer bags (avg price 100 for $15 on amazon). Then I put the item in plastic bag inside a usps box. Might seem like a lot of packaging but I want my the items to be protected but also look special for when the buyer opens box.

It was great since most of my family was from out of town and his mom had quite a list of neighbors and friends she wanted to invite. So we had small ceremony and dinner on night one. Then bigger party the next. How exciting your daughter had a barn wedding too. And how cool you all wore boots too - so fun 💓 Thanks for saying hello 😊

moderngal @kathinoc Hi Katherine - Welcome to Posh❣ I'm glad you reached out. I'm always happy to share things I've learned and answer questions. First, I use an app called Pic Collage to make all of my "signage" including my dividers. There are other similar apps, but I had seen a few other Poshers use it so I downloaded it onto my phone. It's relatively easy to use after you play around a bit.

moderngal @kathinoc I added the signage about my bundle discount right away. But I didn't add the dividers until I had listed about 30 items. (I didn't want my closet to look too cluttered - wanted focus to be on my items 😊). But I like things organized - it's the virgo in me I think lol. So I added the category dividers to keep things clean.

moderngal @kathinoc Organizing your closet is easy (though it takes time when you have a lot of for sale listings...) You simply share your items in reverse order. So items you want on the bottom of your closet you share first. Then you go in reverse order and share the items you want in the top of your closet last.

moderngal @kathinoc Lastly, I share my closet about 1-3 times every day. Often that includes sharing my items to parties when they match the theme. But also sharing to followers is important. Two reasons why regularly sharing your items is very important: it keeps your items towards the top of searches and it displays them on your followers' feeds. I find buyers shop both by searching brands/keywords/etc and by scrolling through their feeds. Sharing your own items will give them more visibility🖒.

moderngal @camilleangie1 Fun tip for you: In between all your other sharing, don't forget to share your own closet (to your followers, to the party, or both - whenever you can.). A lot of people search for items by keyword/brand/etc. The default filter is just shared. If you haven't personally shared your items in last past 12+ hrs, a lot of times it will just get buried. In other words, your sharing of your item "bumps" it up in the searches.

moderngal @camilleangie15 Just keep working on gaining more followers. I usually try to follow about 200 new people each day. About 50-70% follow back. As your followers grow, more people will see your items in their feeds when you share to your followers. One idea for you is to go to my followers once a day and follow all of them. They will usually be active Poshers who recently followed me. 💕

But if you don't have a ton of time, do you know that you can just click on your 'followers' on your closet's home page? Then just scroll down and follow anyone who is following you but you're not following back.

I definitely try to reciprocate shares if they share 5+ of mine. And I say thanks for shares (sometimes) if they share 10+ of mine. And probably goes w/o being said, I respond to people who comment on my listings or who are just saying hi.

I'm 5'5 so I still have work to do, but I'm very happy with my progress so far :) My husband hates how often I buy clothes, but I live in my zella/athleta/lululemon. My Zella yogas seem to just hold up the best. I've given a pair or two to a close friend because the 14's feel too big. They don't seem to be selling very quickly, either, so I wasn't wasting my time listing them.

moderngal @secondchance1 The hanging 1/2 body mannequins are also a great less expensive option. They also help clothing display better. I can honestly say my mannequin paid off immediately. I had clean hanging/flat lay pics (yours are also very clean and compelling ❤) but it really made certain things like my dresses the opportunity to shine. (You have great dresses too that would display so nicely on either mannequin style.)

I've never been to the East coast - north or south. I'm hopeful that I will have a chance to see (and dip my toes in) the Atlantic Ocean sometime in next year or two.

mypuggie7 Oh your puppy is so dang cute! Chickens (and roosters) are fun. They lived in my dining room for their first 6 months. Thank goodness for ceramic tile floor, and a tarp over the table & chairs. Sully the roo always answers back when I call to him. Hilarious! And peacocks are noisy - they squawk really loud! But I just love mine! And of course, my sidekick Heinz!

We got a couple weeks to finish packing everything up and sending it to storage, then once we are back from our Alaskan cruise for my son's birthday, our home will go for sale. In the meanwhile our new home is being built now in Tehaleh's new community in Bonney Lake. It's so exciting and exhausting at the same time. moderngal @mrewinkel Hahaha that's so funny! I was worried I couldn't figure it out (even though I didn't think I'd have a ton of places to choose from.) However, it appears Google conveniently kept track of it for me... I'm pretty sure it's Canton House. It's fairly small and they "make" it to order so it's not like they are coming around with carts. We've been there a few times now. Last time we were out that way was 2yrs ago.

moderngal @mrewinkel Seattle is not really a big foodie city compared to Portland or San Diego. But our International District is pretty big. Unfortunately that can sometimes be it's downfall - crowded and so food sells out too fast or the opposite and it's not as freshly prepared. We do have an amazing Dumpling chain called Din Tai Fung. Looks like one is opening in San Diego this year.

aprilmarie520 hi there, as you can see I'm very interested in purchasing some books at this time. I found out I have breast cancer for the second time right now.the first time I had it was 10 years ago.I'm going to purchase some books and put them in the chemo Lounge. I want to do things that will make people comfortable because being in there for six hours is hard. I looked in the library it looks like they had not gotten any new books in the past 10 years so if I were to just purchase all of your books?
