Hi, I'm Laurie - thanks for stopping by! I'm a handbag enthusiast and have a large collection. It's time to clean out my closets and re-home some bags that I'm just not reaching for. Many are brand new and never worn - and others are favorites that I rarely wear. All of my bags and SLGs are carefully stuffed and meticulously stored! Due to a very large collection, even favorite bags are rarely worn each year, so there is little to no wear on my items. Hope you find something you love!

runs__in__heels I SO appreciate your comments you made a while back on a black Mulberry Roxanne bag. I have the medium brown one and am on the hunt for a black one. i knew the ears looked weird but I would have never known the rest! Thank you for helping make posh a better/safer community!!

smokinokin66 @gsouerwine - Anytime! I have been collecting and studying bags and details for so many years. The Roxy is a personal favorite (I have 2 Roxannes and 2 Rosemary bags - which you almost never find!! -They're like a mini Roxanne). If I see an authentic Roxy anywhere - I'll definitely let you know!

I'm not an authenticator, but there are a few telltale signs - so maybe I can help Truth be told, it's VERY rare to find an authentic Roxie nowadays - as they've been out of production for so many years- and they were one of the most faked bags out there. Do you want to post or email me some pics? Did you get a Roxanne? Rosemary? Which one?

Since you’ve already purchased the bags- if you Can get to a Mulberry store, bring them in for cleaning or repair- and if they’re fakes, you’ll know from Mulberry directly!

smokinokin66 @rdzambo There are a few Mulberry stores in the USA and you can always take it in- but if the Purse Forum people seem to think l it’s legit- it probably is. Just enjoy the bag and Keep it conditioned with Cadillac ( gentle conditioner) and a good spray with Collonil Waterstop! Mulberry recommends this and I’ve used it for years. It also helps with color transfer! Enjoy your new bags!

smokinokin66 It's the black background with the kisslock. 1965. It's tucked away in a cotton dustbag (not original dustbag) in my closet. It's got the EC and copyright - so I know it's authentic....plus I bought it at a farm like over 30 years ago! It looked brand new and over the years, I've just kept it tucked away. I think I used it once in my 20's! It's probably not valued at more than a few hundred bucks - but I will probably just hang onto it and hand it down to my niece when I croak. LOL

smokinokin66 @pursenallyours I think I'm going to sell my Enid Collins original 1965 Roadrunner Box Bag. It's still sitting in my closet and should be enjoyed by someone! I'm going to list it tomorrow - so wanted you to have first dibbs if you're still interested! Going to post photos and list it tomorrow. I'll probably ask around $125-150 - as the only ones of these I've seen are around $250. I even found it on the findingenidcollins.com site. It's a little museum of her pieces and information on her.
