@ljf945 I absolutely understand the frustration and feelings of wanting to give up. It took me some time to make my first sale. My best advice is to share your closet often and to share and follow other Poshers as well. Consider joining a share party for more exposure. My favorite Poshers who host these share games are @jbochic @alhopki @leathercraft.

I’ve had things in my closet for a long time and it can get frustrating, but with so many people on this site, you gotta think 🤔 about the many different choices a person has. You can buy anything on here for many prices and quality from Gucci, Fendi, Louis to Wrangler. So just be cool😎.

@ljf945 Hi Linda, there is no rule regarding when the first sale happens. It all depends on what items you are selling, the brands of the items and such. I would recommend you continue to list, the more items you have available for purchase, the more likely you are to make a sale 😊

@ljf945 , You're on the right track as far as following everyone that follows you, also sharing is important, welcome new poshers, follow people that share the same brands you like, only active and just joined members, not trends. Price high so you can bargain without hurting your bottom line profit, good pics .

@ljf945 That is so very sweet of you to offer but I'm just happy to help. My best advice is to b patient. It can be very frustrating at first. A few things that helped me -- share your listings every day; share the listings of other Poshers and most will share back - this helps get your closet more exposure; keep adding more items to your closet -- the more, the better; add a variety of items -- clothing and shoes for men, women and kids, jewelry, home goods, etc. Best wishes!! 😄

Hi Amber, this is Donna. So a couple of pointers... First Don’t Give Up!!! It’s a numbers game. The more you share other Poshers Closet the more traffic you’ll have. I check my fillets daily. Hit the blue button that says fillers and make sure you are filling them. Get involved with Follow games. I will tag you if you want.

Number two.... pics are supper important. I’m now using Flat lay. I use a large Poster board to start., clean ironed clothing sells best. Keep your closet pretty much the same background. And pic should be bright enough to see details. And lastly. The First three word catch first. So Brand, Type and color size. So like Disney Micky Red. Shirt SZ M as an example.. Hope this helps.

If someone put a like on your picture you can offer a sale price. This gets trick. The 3 dots in corner help u bundle items liked to sell from your closet wish posh had videos of how to do stuff. They maybe due now. Google it to see if poshmark has step by step selling tools.
