Hi Katy, The insole isn't supposed to be customized at the Walking Company as in changed in any way. What happens is that they scan your feet and then tell you which to buy of the three pre-made options that they offer: Neutral, Metatarsal and Plantar Fasciitis. These are absolutely their Neutral option and I hope that you will amend your rating. Thanks so much, Sasha
