Hi! I’m Kathy and Lucy is my style consultant. She loves when we sell stuff because she gets extra treats! Macon’s my little boy. He is shy and hates his picture taken. He was in doggie jail for a little while but he is in his forever home now! We love unique finds as well as name brands that are well-made. myfashionrewind @qcshannonleigh when you share something from your closet it ends up being the first thing you see when you reopen your closet. So I start sharing what I want to be last. Everything before that will stay where it is. It can get confusing if you have a lot of items! I find that if I'm interrupted I lose my place!! I hope I didn't confuse you more!!

myfashionrewind @qcshannonleigh you don't have to share every single item in your closet every time, but all of the items in that category so that it keeps them together. I try to change my closet around often anyway. It is a pain, but I find that I share more items more often and that turns into more sales.

Mention size, brand, and other facts instead of "cute" etc. I take as many photos as I can of the item as well, including the label and fabric content. The more info you have the easier it is for people to purchase. It cuts down on questions too. I try to include measurements and fabric content on every post. Lots to think about!!! 😀 I think your closet looks great!

myfashionrewind @ktlotter Hey, sorry it took me so long! If the buyer doesn’t do anything, the order is automatically accepted after, I think, 4 days. This happens a lot and it’s frustrating for the sellers because we don’t get our money released until it’s accepted. But unfortunately that’s how it is. I wouldn’t take it personally though. I think they can go back later and add or change comments even after the order is accepted. Hope this helps. 😀

myfashionrewind @tabathamq Thank you for your kind words!! When you share an item it goes to the top of your closet. So if you share all of the blue then they will all be together. Skip anything you want at the very bottom, like the sold items. It’s a lot of work since I have so many items but once you get it done then you can just share from the bottom up.

myfashionrewind @laurajwc Thank you!! When you share your items they go to the top of your closet. Share all of the red items and they will be together. Once you have all of the colors together, you can just share from the bottom up. When I share items for a party, they get separated from the color group so I just have to remember to add them back in. It can get complicated if I let it get too unorganized so I makes me have to share more than I would.

myfashionrewind @cancell10 Thanks! Just share your items by color and they will end up that way. First share shows up last. So if you want black items last, share those first. Things get hairy when you have lots of items and share to parties. I’m constantly having to rearrange. But if forces me to share more frequently and that’s good for sales. Make sense?

myfashionrewind @mejane0606 Thank you! It’s a lot of work. I share all of one color in the backward order that I want. First shared will end up last. So all black is shared first and so on. I end up having to share everything if I want to keep the colors in order. It gets harder the more items I have. My goal is to have 400 active listings. It will take me about 30-40 minutes to share my whole closet each time. Your kind comment means a lot! 😀

myfashionrewind @mejane0606 I figure that every time I share my items, they get exposure. I think it’s time well spent. My advise is to join the various Facebook groups, especially the main Poshmark one. There are tons of tips that will help you that I’ve learned from those groups. There are lots and lots of things you can do to promote your items and help that they get in front of the right eyes.

myfashionrewind @sexysixty60 Hey, thank you for buying from me! I will try to answer your question as best as possible. Every seller is different. I don’t get easily offended but some do. I’m pretty sure that the shipping discount goes away if the buyer counters. I’m always happy whenever I get a fairly reasonable offer even if it’s a bit lower than I really want. What most sellers get most annoyed with is lowball offers, 40% or more off the already reduced price.

myfashionrewind Also, any offer that has reduced shipping comes out of the sellers earnings. Only exception is when they have Closet Clear Out. Then Poshmark pays the discount. This is something to consider when a seller makes an offer because posh fees are 20% (or 2.95 under $15) plus an extra 1.49 can end up being a large percentage of earnings. Hope that makes sense.

myfashionrewind Also, your question about it being rude if you decline an offer. I don’t think so but some sellers don’t like it. Most buyers just ignore the offer if they are not interested. If you are planning on selling, you will learn a lot by joining the Poshmark Facebook group.

myfashionrewind @glamqueen5 Hi, you can get a new label with a higher weight by going to the sales area, click on the sale and on new label. You should see an option for heavier weight. They have it tiered in 1lb increments. The extra will come out of your earnings. 😏. Let me know if this helps. I use my iPad so it might be slightly different on a phone or laptop. 😀
