poshkatt2 @skylarkvintage Funny, I actually have a collection going in my phone...I've only recently started my closet (after joining years ago, not knowing what it was, and leaving it empty 'til I rediscovered P.M. 5 years later!), so I'm not quite sure how to properly post yet. I've no idea how to put words on top of the photos, so that's my next bit of homework! But yeah, I adore the same era, and have a ton of similar pics...(and vintage magazine ads as well...I love them!)

skylarkvintage @katnevpat Too funny! I've only added brand graphic to my listings a couple times. I found the brand logo online then used a photo editor to create the cover pic. Two good free online photo editors are Canva and PicMonkey. You can also just add text to your photos with them, too, if you don't want to deal with logo's.

Actually, I was referring to your copy that you have on top of the vintage illustrations (ie: "Dresses", or "Make me an offer"). :-) I don't think I'm a fan of copy on top of the items themselves, not sure about that yet. I think I'm more inclined to present a clean, clear photo if possible, sans tons of styling or lots of copy or emoticons to get in the way. I find some closets too busy for my eyes to focus on the items.

skylarkvintage Ha! It is a headshot from my theater days. I'm more involved with behind the scenes aspects of things these days. I write more than anything now. As for the name, it's inspired by my favorite Johnny Mercer song, Skylark. :-)

skylarkvintage Oh, I use Canva to create those, and the fonts are ones they have free. I picked my favs and turned them into a consistent logo. and text throughout my closet. I love all aspects of design, so I have a lot of fun working on creating a look for my closet and trying to reinforce my brand through it.

skylarkvintage @katnevpat I know what you mean about closets that are too busy. I think some people think more is more when it comes to graphic design. I ascribe to the less is more philosophy. But you can't always convey everything you need to with just visuals, so copy is necessary. If there's too much color, text, or even multiple photos in a single cover shot, it gets really hard to even see what the item is that's listed.

skylarkvintage @rfritchm It would probably be easiest for me to just relist the necklace for 130. That way I can honor the amount I countered earlier, and cover the shipping upgrade. The $30 would be in addition to the standard Poshmark shipping. I'll have to use the 30 at the post office to upgrade the delivery. I just need to double check something in regards to the tracking. I'm pretty sure you'll need to change your shipping address on your profile in order for me to send it to OH. Be right back.

I have to use their label in order for it to be tracked by their system and receive payment. If you'd like, I can wrap it nicely for you and it would be received on Tuesday. I could relist it at my counteroffer, and then you can put it in a bundle so I can give you free shipping. That's the best I can do at this point.

I didn't want to call out her closet by name, but the Lacoste pillow covers would be considered a home good, not a fashion item in spite of being made by a fashion brand, and therefore are non-compliant. I can email Posh for confirmation if you like. You make a point of being compliant, which is the only reason I decided to bring it to your attention.

It is a great piece to coordinate with so many others since "nothing rhymes with orange" although it looks pink in the photo.
