appshopper @hsshall Thank you for the welcome note. Poshmark is a whole new world! If someone offers less than the listed amount, is it okay to counter with the listed amount? There is no place to comment on someone's bid, but I'd rather not lower the price. Wasn't sure if that was okay in Poshmark etiquette. Thanks for the advice!

romynmichelles @appshopper if your price is firm, it's firm 😊, you can counter with the listed price, it's up to you as the buyer to do whatever you are comfortable with. There are many who do not accept any offers for any of their closet items at all. You do what is best for you. 😊

appshopper @hsshall Another if you don't mind. Why do some people ask you to reply via e-mail and not via Poshmark? Do you usually reply from a personal e-mail or only communicate via the app? Thank you!

romynmichelles @appshopper these are scammers that are trying to get you to go off Posh to get your info and rip you off. Just report their profiles and ignore their comments on your posts. 😊 In the upper right corner there is an icon you can click when you go to their profile that will give you a menu that you can use to report them. Don't worry about asking questions! It's how we can help 😊 Happy Poshing!!

appshopper @hsshall Got it! So I'm just an individual who wants to sell a few loved items from my closet. I see people (yourself included ;-) ) who have a gazillion followers. Can I assume people make small business off this? Also, what's the story with sharing and following. Is this to help spread the word and/or follow someone whose closet you think is great? You are very kind to share your info with a newbie!

romynmichelles @appshopper sharing and following is how you get your closet out there and how you get others to notice you and your closet 😊 Most people will follow those who follow them and share back those who share their items, so sharing and following other people is the top way to get traffic to your closet! But self sharing (sharing your own items) is very, very important, people forget to share their own stuff! So share your own closet items at least 3-5 times a day😊

appshopper @hsshall Got it. It looks like I'm already following some folks. I don't remember clicking on any buttons to follow them. If I look at an item in someone's closet, does that automatically make me a follower?

romynmichelles @appshopper No, there is a blue button at the top of the closet that you have to click to follow the person. I think when you join, Posh has an automatic set of people they have you follow to start off with. But you can follow whoever you want and also unfollow whoever you want😊

appshopper @hsshall Good morning! I hope all is well. I am getting better at Poshing and had another question. Are the parties for the day listed anywhere? I see the invites come through on my news feed but then I can't find them again -- or I miss the day and time. For example, I saw that there was a Ray-Ban party this morning but I don't see it listed anywhere and I may have missed it! Thanks in advance! Have a great day!

romynmichelles @appshopper at the bottom of the screen, if you click shop, you can scroll to the parties, and the Ray Ban party will start at 12 EST. 😊

appshopper @hsshall A follow up if you don't mind. The Ray-Ban party is going on right now. When I go to share mine to the party, I only get an option to share to my followers, not to the party. Any idea how I can get around that?

romynmichelles @appshopper The ray ban party doesn't start until noon EST. When it starts, you will get a prompt in the App saying the party is going on and you will be able to share to the party and to your followers 😊

appshopper @hsshall When I click on the Party link it says the party starts at 9:00 AM. Noon shows a different party. Hmmmm.
