baaadmomma96 @macfrazier I have a ton of clothing items to list. Do you use an editor for the photos and if so which one. I would like a free on to see if this is going to work for me. I posted a few items yesterday but today when I search I hit “show more items” 20 times and never found them. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong

macfrazier @baaadmomma96 Hi Donna! You can always go in an edit that section about yourself. During the sign up process, there may have been a section that asked to select some of the brands that you like or might be interested in. I know Poshmark has kind of like a generic introduction and people can go in and edit accordingly. Hopefully this answers your question.

macfrazier @baaadmomma96 There is a free photo edit editing app named Photo Room, unfortunately you can only upload and edit 1 photo at a time, if you want to upload a batch of photos on this app, you would have to purchase the upgrade option which is a subscription. When searching for your other items listed, be sure to that there are no filters on, normally the filter will default to your size when you first set up your profile. You will need to be sure it shows ALL in the filter section.

macfrazier @baaadmomma96 The purpose of following closets is to build a larger following because people follow back; it helps to bring traction to your closet. In the Poshmark Community there is such a thing called sharing “Posh Love” and what that means is when people share your items, it’s a nice a nice gesture for you to share their items back.

macfrazier @baaadmomma96 Since you are just starting off, you may have a smaller following, for someone with tons of followers, when they share your items it goes out to more people, again helping bring more traction to your closet which will hopefully help you make more sales.

baaadmomma96 @macfrazier there is no way I can ever go through all these comments to follow everyone back any time soon if ever. Is there a place that shows followers and way to follow back?

baaadmomma96 @macfrazier what’s the best way to follow people back? I’ve tried to just go through notifications and follow everyone back but I keep getting farther behind. I’m over a thousand people behind now. I will never be able to do it the way I’m trying to.

macfrazier @baaadmomma96 Hi Donna, sorry for the late response. If you go into your closet, right under your closet name, you will see the categories Listings / Shares / Followers / Following. Click on Followers and you should be able to follow everyone back that is following you.

baaadmomma96 @macfrazier I have questions about shipping. The buyer pays the shipping with a prepaid shipping label from posh for priority shipping. Is that correct? How do sellers then lower the shipping price? I’ve used poly bags for cheaper is that allowed?

macfrazier @baaadmomma96 Hi Donna! Shipping is $7.97 for anything less than 5 pounds, anything over 5 pounds would be extra and you can decide if you will cover the extra fee or if the buyer will. You can use poly bags but that will not change the shipping fee for the buyer unless you decide to give a shipping discount. When creating or editing a listing, select the dropdown menu below Discounted Shipping. Select a shipping discount. Publish the listing to save your changes and activate the discount.

baaadmomma96 @macfrazier How does lowering the sell price and the shipping price change anything for the buyer that lowering the sell price for the exact amount do?

maloub @baaadmomma96 hi, Donna. There are four Posh parties daily. First one has particular brands, the best two are categories, and the last one is for sharing everything. They are particular times of the day, I’m on Pacific time so it’s 9-12-4-7. You can share your own items to the party, as long as it fits the brand, category, etc I hope this helps!

baaadmomma96 @maloub But his do you actually find the party. Say you want to go in and shop the party. How do you find it and access it? It asks if you want to join when you open the app but if I say no at first then how do I join?
