I’m originally from the Florida Space Coast. I had an incredible childhood growing up. I’ve lived all over since then!
My family means everything to me. I’ve been joyfully married for 34 years. I have two children. I am a full time care provider for my son who has physical disabilities. I am very grateful, and blessed beyond measure, for every second that I am still here.
I started in fine jewelry and designer handbags when I was 18! I’ve been a personal shopper, dancer and singer, travel consultant and home based agency owner, events and activities management owner, television travel & leisure lifestyle expert, but my favorite role is “Mom”. I am a lifelong learner, who can’t sit still! I believe strongly in community service.
I am known for pristine condition items and and a high level of customer service. I work very hard at sourcing beautiful items. I love making people happy! I prefer smoke free, new or pristine condition items.

Then, about 1 1/2 years ago, as I kept getting sicker & sicker with a different problem every few months. My thyroid crashed, I had an attack of congestive heart failure, my skin was erupting in what looked like dime sized pustules.

The final upset was when perfectly healthy teeth began to break off or just crack vertically. I switched to a different rheumatologist, who ran the titers & still kept getting results of positive for scleroderma. At that point, he told me about Sjogrens Disease. He gave me all kinds of folders to read. He said it was possible to have both, because autoimmune diseases are so hard to diagnose..,

If you can share any information on these diseases, I would be so grateful. The latest symptom is a new nightmare… the skin on my scalp becomes itchy & somewhat hardened; almost like a baby’s scalp with “cradle cap”. It lasts about 2 weeks or so. It doesn’t feel dry & the skin does not flake off.

@denimandiamonds No worries! It’s great to meet you! I am so sorry for all you’ve gone through. It’s tough, and a daily challenge! Regarding your recent symptoms, Sjögren’s is a called the “Gathering disease”. It doesn’t like being the only autoimmune disease.

@denimandiamonds Unfortunately, it leads to many things including Psoriasis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Small Fiber Neuropathy, Autonomic Neuropathy, and many more. I would do to a Dermatologist and get checked for Psoriasis. Please keep in touch! There are gr—-s on Face. Book. that have helped me. I hope you find one that helps you.
