When posh offers discounted shipping to likers when you lower your price by at least 10% and they make a counter off , do they still get the discounted shipping or do they pay full shipping since they countered ? Thank you so much❤️ only because that is being offered today by Poshmark and I have someone that countered my offer that was emailed to her.

shopofthemoment @sweet1957 she might have added it to a bundle then and sent you an offer that way. That you can do. But technically it doesn’t give discounted shipping. But you can offer whatever price you want that way. You’re not limited to the 10% off and discount shipping.

luckyladybug4u @sweet1957 Hi Connie - I saw your post on someone's page about the 1099 form and Poshmark having you claim your sales as income. I just now sold an item today (Aug. 29, 2022), and PM won't let me print out the shipping label until you give them your SS# or Tax ID # (for a business). So you will receive a 1099 form and have to claim your sales as income. It sucks! I agree with you 100% that these are just items we are selling, not really income. At this point, I'm tempted to go back on "e" site.

sweet1957 @luckyladybug4u Hi D , I don’t really know that much about it but I think if you sell $600 per year or more you have to claim it as income. It makes no sense to me since we are taking a loss on the original price. So far I haven’t sold that much so I haven’t encountered the problem yet.

sweet1957 @luckyladybug4u I’ll have to talk to someone to see how we can deduct the cost of the item from our sales. Probably to legally do that you would have to have receipts of the original cost.

luckyladybug4u @sweet1957 Thanks dear, but it is all so not worth it. I had a good run for the past 3 years and I might just call it quits. As we speak, I'm in the process of putting "not for sale" on my items in my closet until I figure out what I want to do. I'm leaning toward going back to selling on the 'e' website. Does anyone know if the 'e' website does this 1099 thing also?

sweet1957 @luckyladybug4u you are right , it’s not worth it if we have to pay taxes on the measly amount we get. I’m sure if Poshmark is having to do it everyone has to do it. Good luck and I need to make a decision also on what I’m going to do. Keep in touch if you find out differently. Thanks ❤️
