The Purple Tennis Ball name was created by our family as an ongoing joke between my husband and I; Twenty years ago when the internet search engines weren't utilized as much as they are now.... my husband would give me a hard time when I told him I could find anything on internet-- he said "I bet you can't find a purple tennis ball."
