You’ll take items of your items, click the camera button on the bottom of your screen to upload them than, You’ll follow the prompts to give a description of what you’re selling & underneath that and even more descriptive description then you complete each of the boxes that are required and even the ones that are not required if you’d like to

miriam_nicastro I try to complete as many boxes as I can. When you get down to the pricing you can list the piece you purchased the item for or leave it blank, Poshmark provides guidance on listing prices to help you determine how much to sell it for.

miriam_nicastro Once you’ve uploaded and listed your items you’ll wait for buyers! You can offer discounts when someone likes an item if you choose. Once an item sells, Poshmark emails you a mailing label to print, you can ship items in any type of box however you can get free boxes at the post office 😉 If you have any other questions, I’m just a message away!!

serenity4life86 @miriam_nicastro Thankyou so much Miriam!! Now how do I collect payment once item is sold? lol I feel like an idiot I feel like I should be able to figure this stuff out.. and another thing when it comes to filing taxes at the end of the year do you know how that works?

miriam_nicastro @serenity4life86 Don’t feel like that, it can be a lot!! Once someone makes a purchase Poshmark collects the funds, it sits in your pending until they receive/except it, if they don’t accept it right away the funds will be available for withdrawal after 3 days. Most of the time people will except it as soon as I receive it/open it. Once you see that it’s available for redemption you can set up direct deposit.

miriam_nicastro @serenity4life86 As for taxes, I plan to save 20% of sales to apply towards taxes. As to my knowledge if you make under a certain amount you don’t have to file it but I’m not 100% certain.
